Whats wrong with this picture?
This is a gun store in the Daytona area. Click on the picture to enlarge it. A sign on the front door indicates that the store does not allow concealed carry, yet this store facilitates CCW training and sells plenty of handguns. Somewhat of a disconnect, imo.
Now, in no way am I infringing upon one's right to govern his own property, but this seems counterproductive.

Simple, you can only price so much over head into the price of guns. Would you pay say 30 dollars extra for a gun if the sign were not there? It is about the dealer getting affordable insurance for the store.

I disagree. A good underwriter isn’t going to base a premium off of a sign. I was literally doing commercial insurance inspections when I saw this, it’s something I’m quite familiar with.

I frequent this store, and many others in the area often and can’t blame the owner. The problem with loaded guns you plan to bring into the store either for selling, fixing, id’ing etc… is that it can be mis-handled by the owner, shopkeeper, or third party. It’s just safer and common sense. As for not carrying concealed, that’s nobody’s business but your own if you keep it concealed and your mouth shut.
